Having been immersed in the wedding industry from a young age, I drew inspiration from my father, a local creative, which ignited my passion for pursuing a career as a wedding planner. With an innate ability for organization and a keen eye for detail, I began my journey by taking charge of planning my own debutant party, enlisting the help of my father's connections in the event supplier industry. This experience served as a stepping stone, leading me to venture into planning and coordinating parties and weddings for my father's acquaintances and clients.

With a background in Psychology and prior work experience as a marketing communications officer in the hotel and hospitality industry, I felt I was a perfect fit for the wedding industry as a planner and coordinator. My educational foundation in Psychology and certification as a Wedding Specialist enabled me to effectively deal with people, assist them in the planning process, facilitate decision-making, and flawlessly execute events.

Hello, I'm Mikka Alaia. Professionally, I am a Psychometrician and a Certified Wedding Specialist, currently serving as a full-time wedding planner for Uncomplicated Weddings. Apart from my role in planning and coordinating weddings, I am deeply passionate about the environment and leading a sustainable lifestyle. During our off-seasons, I make it a priority to take sabbatical leaves and indulge in traveling, hiking, trekking, and free-diving. These experiences serve as a constant source of inspiration, allowing me to stay energized and bring fresh ideas to my work.
